I am a practicing attorney and am routinely confronted with abstruse government forms and legal standards as a part of my professional life. Accordingly, I felt that the I-129F would be tedious, at worst, but otherwise straightforward enough that I would have no difficulty in completing it on my own, without much external guidance, save the occasional forum post or YouTube video.
The more time I spent with the form, the more frustrated I became that there were no clear instructions on how to answer many of the oddly-phrased questions, and that the supplemental instructions provided by USCIS seldom provided guidance on some of the more specific circumstances particular to my own case. When I looked to internet forums and videos to see how others had handled the same issues, there were no consistent answers; instead, I found hundreds of different approaches, all of which seemed to be based in the personal preference of the applicant rather than any research into USCIS preference. The answers available on these resources were all over the map, and raised more questions rather than providing well-reasoned solutions.
I had seen Prem's articles on several occasions while performing searches for K1 related questions. Although I was cautious about spending any more money than I needed to on this already-expensive process, I eventually came to my senses and realized that a small investment now would pay off tremendously if it could resolve some of the challenges I was having with the assembly of our application package. The savings in time alone would be worth it, to say nothing of the costs associated with an appeal if I made an avoidable error and our application was denied over a silly mistake.
Prem's course delivered exactly what it promised: a well-organized, step-by-step approach to the completion of the total K1 package. The course is organized in a simple outline format, with instructional videos to guide you through each step of the application. Wherever practical, Prem has included well-written templates for supplemental documents. The course included guidance on how to approach many of the questions that logically flowed from the I-129F application, but were not addressed in the official USCIS instructions. What's more, through the "Discussion" section of the course portal, Prem quickly and dutifully answers the questions of his students, providing direction and guidance on how to approach the many complications you are guaranteed to encounter as you tackle the application.
Don't underestimate the I-129F. This is, obviously, one of the most important documents you will ever assemble. You may only get one chance to get it right. With that in mind, I can't overstate the value of Prem's course. Of course, nobody can make any guarantees as to how USCIS will adjudicate any particular case. Still, you want to give yourself every possible advantage as your build your application package. I believe that this program helped me do exactly that, and would enthusiastically recommend it to applicants of all types...from a person who has never completed a government document in his or her life, to a (typically over-confident) litigation attorney like myself.
